Mrs. Bisi Mawuton  Sotunde (nee Padonu), a 2013 U-30 Entrepreneur of the year, one of the top 40 entreprenuers to watch out for in 2014  is  the CEO/ Events Manager at BusyBee Events!. She is a force to reckon with in the Events industry, having successfully planned and managed several events from Corporate Functions, Weddings and Kiddies Parties for over 5 years.

 She is a trained facilitator in events management and entrepreneurship. She is a BSc.(Hons.) holder in Chemical and Polymer Engineering from Lagos State University, a recipient of  the GoldMan Sachs 10,000 Women Scholarship Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management at the Prestigious Pan Atlantic University,. She has undergone other  trainings with Centre for Entreprise Management & Research(an International Finance Corporation IFC sponsored programme),  Covenant Capital, Fate Foundation, Albert and Benjamin Ross Project Management, NIM, LEAP Africa,, and Rise Business Academy which have equipped her with the skills, tools and support required in the management of projects, time, people and performances etc.

She has worked in various sectors from fashion, finance to the oil and gas industry, but she learnt her event expertise under tutorship of  Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo of ‘Elizabeth R Events’ before venturing into her own outfit in October, 2009.

Since inception, she has trained/mentored quite a lot of aspiring event entrepreneurs and has written numerous event planning articles in magazines, newspapers and has also featured in TV and radio shows sharing her success story as a young CEO.

This fast rising woman is indeed a female leading entrepreneur in the industry. She is happily married to Mr. Bolaji Sotunde, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor/Projects Manager and they are blessed with a Son, Nathan Sotunde.
